Two held for racing horse at Greater Noida expressway

A video of horse race being conducted on Noida-Greater Noida expressway went viral few days back.

Police has now identified and arrested two riders involved in the incident. Sadiq and Salman both residents of Delhi have been arrested by a team of Expressway Police. Case has been registered against three other named Parvej, Afreel and Mubarak. Attempts are on to man other culprits and well.

Case has been registered under IPC 152/17, 279 IPC, 13G act and 11 animal cruelty act.

Plea on revaluation would affect DU admission this year

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday stated that the ongoing Delhi University (DU) admissions would be affected after the result of a plea by students seeking re-evaluation of answer sheets of their Class XII exam held this year.

A Bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C. Hari Shankar said there is a probability of change in merit position of the students who had applied for re-evaluation.

India to host next edition of the Theatre Olympics- biggest Theatre celebration of the world

In a development that puts India firmly among the top nations in the world theatre map, the country is all set to host the next edition of the prestigious Theatre Olympics.

Theatre Olympics is being held in India for the first time, will be organised by National School of Drama, under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, led by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister. The country’s tryst with the biggest celebration of theatre in the world will take place from February 17 till April 8, 2018 and would held across 15 cities across India.

Theatre Olympics is the foremost international theatre festival, presenting the finest productions of well known theatre practitioners from around the world.
